“Purmo Group is a strong and attractive business already today, but at the same time we see significant potential for further improvements, especially in terms of operational excellence. I would like to thank Perttu Louhiluoto for his excellent work in building the new Purmo Group as we know it today, from having historically been an integrated part of Rettig Group. The company is now in a good position to transition to the next level to become a best-in-class company under the leadership of John Peter Leesi. I am pleased to welcome John Peter, who has a vast amount of relevant industrial and leadership experience and a strong track record in performance improvement”, said Tomas von Rettig.

“I am excited to start as CEO of Purmo Group, the European leader in sustainable indoor climate comfort solutions. Purmo Group’s addressable market is consolidating and there are interesting growth opportunities brought by digitalisation and in energy efficient systems for heating, ventilation and air conditioning. I look forward to working together with Purmo Group’s leadership team and employees to together realise the full potential of Purmo Group”, said John Peter Leesi.

John Peter Leesi succeeds Perttu Louhiluoto who has been Purmo’s Chief Executive Officer since November 2017.
